To help provide members with utility management guidance as well as quality products and services, APPA is teaming with Hometown Connections and Wortham Power Gen Insurance to evaluate the insurance needs of the membership. Please complete the following APPA Insurance Survey. The survey asks for information on your organization’s current insurance profile, as well as feedback on future Public Power insurance programs.
As demonstrated by the existing Cyber Liability Program and ARGUS Property Program for Generation Members, public power communities can reduce insurance costs significantly by leveraging the combined purchasing power of APPA membership. This survey invites your assistance to help determine where the APPA/Hometown Connections Insurance Programs should next focus. Please note these potential new public power insurance programs would NOT provide for the sharing of risk, limits or deductibles. Rather, they merely leverage the group purchasing power of the APPA membership to reduce premium costs.
Everyone who completes the survey will receive from APPA a Peer Comparison Report, sharing aggregate information on insurance coverage and pricing by utility size/structure.
